Since the opening of Commerce Stream in 2011 in Reliance College Jr., Finance (BANKING) was introduced as an elective subject along with other. It is almost known to everyone that in the existing economic environment, the knowledge of financial management is of utmost necessity where the modern banking institutions play a very significant and vigorous role in settlement of financial transaction in every sector of the economy.
In order to impart some basic concepts of “Banking Theory and Practice” in the Higher Secondary stage, the subject is being continued in our college with a suitable syllabus of Assam Higher Secondary Council enabling a large number of students learn the fundamentals of Banking in the beginning of their professional career.
No doubt, in the prevailing financial complexities, the knowledge of Banking help the students entering into the various phases of financial markets right from savings and investment to the dealing of shares and securities in the national and international financial market.
