Department of Business Studies

Welcome to Department of Business Management at the Reliance College Jr., Golaghat. The Commerce Stream was introduced in our college in 2011 and has completed 5 glorious years. The subject Business Studies provides the latest knowledge about the economic and non-economic environment of business, the structure of business activities and the trends in the domestic and international business to students of commerce.
Business Studies is the compulsory subject for all the students of Commerce Stream. The subject imparts not only theoretical knowledge but it includes practical aspects also. Consequently, the department has been carrying various practical activities, i.e. Industrial visits, Bank visits, Seminar works, Project works, Group Discussion since the opening of the department.
We are proud to announce that the department has been showing distinctive performance in every year. A student named Miss Neha Sarmah from our department (Business Studies) achieved 92% in H.S. Final Examination in the year 2015.
The Department assures to carry more glory to the college in the near future.
